ANSWER:
On the rear end inspection cover, if there's one bolt on the bottom it's a 10 bolt. If it has 2 bolts on the rear end cover side-by-side on the bottom, then it's a 12. However, if the car is badged an SS model and it has a 10 bolt rear end, beware: it might be a clone. Most SS models came with a 12 bolt rear end. Make sure you do your research.
